Sedmakovo is a holiday home embraced by nature – a private retreat for up to 7 guests. It is perfect for those seeking a peaceful and authentic experience in the heart of the Upper Savinja Valley. Situated at 800 m above sea level, it is only 6 km (approx. 12 minutes by car) from the center of Ljubno ob Savinji. The location offers complete seclusion from the city bustle while remaining close to natural attractions and starting points for hikes and cycling tours. Sedmakovo offers a cozy retreat – whether it’s a weekend getaway, a walk through the forest, or simply relaxing on the terrace.
We are the Nerat family who built Sedmakovo in 2000 as a personal retreat and a place for cherished moments with friends. Over time, we decided to open it to guests, sharing the peace, warmth, and sense of home that this special place offers. We love returning here ourselves – for a coffee on the terrace, a walk through the forest, or a shared meal – and we are happy to help you make the most of your stay and discover the beauty of the surroundings.
Sedmakovo is an excellent base for exploring the Upper Savinja Valley and the surrounding gems of Slovenia. The area offers a variety of activities – from walks and hiking, cycling tours, and swimming in the Savinja River, to fishing, winter sports, and cultural attractions. In the house, you will find brochures with ideas for excursions and hiking routes, and we are happy to share our personal recommendations – where to go, which hidden spots to visit, and how to make the most of your day in the area.
