I am passionate about creating a place that reflects the uniqueness and character of the Rocky Mountains and Yellowstone! I am attentive to decor and amenities that enhance your stay and even save you money, like providing a reasonable amount of firewood, bear spray, spices, and everyday condiments. Imagine staying in the home of your best friend...not the messy one, but the one that always has things just right! We are non-intrusive, but available when the need arises! Even if it is to jump your car battery or put air in a tire!
My passions are exploring anything outdoors, photography, decorating, baking, travel, staying in Forest Service cabins, and anything related to real estate in cool places, some of which I have invested in. I used to sell real estate in my home state of Washington and I appraised real estate here in Montana. In 2005, I began sharing this beautiful place and five unique and special accommodations with hard-working people like you! My co-host, Melissa, is also passionate about providing a place that is perfect in every way for you! She is always responsive and comes through if an emergency arises. She has an avid interest in food, both preparing and dining out! We share interests in cooking, walking our dogs, and improving our health! She has found her heartfelt home here in Paradise Valley with her significant other for the past 5 years. She has a broad background in hospitality.
The neighborhood is rural with large acreages from 4 acres to 5000 acres, and near the base of the Absaroka Beartooth Mountains! The views are spectacular and the people are friendly! Sightings of wildlife, birds of prey, and songbirds are commonplace. Other small farmsteads are in the area, horse pastures and cattle ranches and people like us have four acres just for you and the deer, foxes, meadowlarks, and Hungarian partridges. Dining, hiking, music venues, hot spring resorts, and the charming western town of Livingston are within 20-30 minutes away. Yellowstone National Park is 35 minutes away with a beautiful drive near the mountains and the Yellowstone River meandering down the valley!
