Welcome to the Salt Water Flat! This charming remodeled Cedar Creek condo is located in the gated community of Harbor Island. This getaway is on the quiet, southern end of the island, close to amenities but with a sense of privacy. The two decks overlook the beautiful tidal marshlands and Hunting Island State Park with ocean views in the distance. The Salt Water Flat has all amenities you need for a perfect vacation, including WIFI, cable, washer/dryer & a fully equipped kitchen. The Living Room opens onto a private deck with steps leading to a short path to one of the island’s many beach accesses. Dine outside on the private porch, grill out, or just curl up on the sleeper sofa and enjoy a movie….whatever you choose, this place is ready for you. The bedroom also has its own covered deck-a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. Spend your day at the island’s private beach or relax by one of the 3 community swimming pools. Take a stroll on the island’s nature trail to watch for local wildlife. Harbor Island is a bird sanctuary with lots to see including seabirds, pelicans, migratory birds, sea turtles, dolphins and even the occasional alligator! In addition to the ocean and beach there are tennis courts, pickle-ball, a putting green, basketball court, and a fitness center all within a short walking distance. There are multiple restaurants nearby along with many fresh seafood markets where you can buy local catches to prepare in the fully stocked kitchen or outdoor grill. Right next to Harbor Island is Hunting Island State Park with beautiful beaches, hiking, and fishing pier. You will find a complimentary pass in the condo or at the Tidewatch offices. You can also explore the nearby community of Frogmore or spend the day in historic Beaufort or Port Royal.

Harbor Island is a peaceful, gated community located 14 miles (22 km) east of Beaufort, South Carolina. It has three outdoor pools, tennis courts, a putting green, and three miles of pure, untamed, sandy white beach create a private vacation playground unlike any other. The Harbor Island pool is open from April 1 - November 1. ** Please note there is enough parking for up to 1 vehicle at this property. Parking spaces are unassigned** Harbor Island Owners Association require a gate pass to gain access to the private island. GATE PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! Vehicle gate pass fees are per vehicle, set by the Island and are subject to change. Please contact our team after you book the property to purchase a pass. Please refer to your Rental Agreement or Check-In Instructions for up to date pricing.
