    “The view was great and it had a fire pit and a picnic table with comfy chairs outside . The bed was comfortable and all appliances worked . The owners supplied 12 packs of water and seltzer which was nice . Air conditioning kept us cool”

This is the only occupied house at the end of a private driveway on a scenic pensula on Scott Pond. I live around the corner and when this property is not rented, I bring my two dogs there to run off leash and to hunt kibble which I toss from the deck for them at sunset.
We have been renting our previous property, Vermont Log Home, for many years and found that guests who brought their dogs enjoyed their visit and took care of our property very well.
Scott Pond is a typical New Hampshire pond with 'tea colored' water with a soft bottom and has largemouth bass, blue heron, beavers, ducks, and painted turtles. Guests report that their dogs love 'hunting' frogs along the pond edge. Nearby (8 miles) is pick your own Gooseberries, Red Currants, Black Currants, Blueberries, and Raspberries. Neighbors enjoy pickleball at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH, which has six pickleball courts with nets provided, available for daily use.
