The Rocky Hill Inn was built in 1857 in anticipation of the L and N Railroad which came through in 1859. Many of the original attributes of the property can still be seen and enjoyed. It was known as the Mansion at Rocky Hill and its hospitality was renown. There are many lovely porches where you can sit and sip coffee and/or tea during the day. The working railroad is still in use and there will be noise at various times of the day and night. The Inn is a non -smoking, no children, no pets and no alcohol facility.
Jim and Janelle live on-site. Along with enjoying hosting, Jim loves antique auto restoration. Janelle enjoys creating and serving English Afternoon Teas in their Rose Tea Room, reservations required.
Rocky Hill is a sweet country Central Kentucky town nestled halfway between fine dining in Bowling Green, golf at Mammoth Park Golf Club, tours of the ever expanding Mammoth Cave National Park and many Cave City festivities.
