All the pictures in the post were taken ON PROPERTY! The amazing sunsets, wild mountain vistas and silhouetted horses are all immediately visible from the dome's location! The DOME AT MESA VERDE is unlike any other stay you have experienced! We have a very SPECIAL SPOT on our ancient 200-acre parcel that provides you with PEACE and QUIET and INCREDIBLE VIEWS. However, it is not just the LOCATION. The Dome is outfitted for COMFORT and is very accommodating. Minutes from Mesa Verde National Park the land was once occupied by the ancient Puebloans! With big sky views and no immediate neighbors, you are transported back in time (despite good cell service and WiFi internet) to a place of wide-open spaces, tranquil hiking, sweeping views and incredible solitude. This is a place to come and breathe, listen, recharge, sweat in the Sauna, cook on the wood fired grill, hang by the fire pit and observe the incredible starry-night sky! Only 5 miles from Cortez and 1 mile from the National Park, we are close to everything! BUT - being located down a mile-long driveway, through 2 gates, with no immediate neighbors provides you with peace and tranquility.
We are a husband-and-wife team, experienced SUPERHOSTS, and CONCIERGE for your visit! We live nearby on the property and are here to serve and to help on your vacation. We are available by cell phone during the hours of 8am to 9pm. We live in a house that is obscured by the trees but is nearby to the south on the property. We live on 209 private acres, surrounded on 3 sides by public grounds, perfect for exploring! The closest nearby attraction is Mesa Verde National Park, directly across the highway!
