The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood, at the entrance to the Sierra outback country. It is PERFECT for couples. This property is highly recommended for visitors looking to explore the beautiful Sierra landscape, i.e., hiking trails, biking trails, neighborhood walks and biking, and is surrounded by back country lakes and streams. Echo Lake is about 20 minutes away and a must see for hiking. Lake Tahoe beaches are about 20 minutes drive. There is a small grocery store about 5 minutes from the cottage and larger stores in town about 15 minutes away. There is a large lawn and backyard area with a hot tub on the back deck. The property is not completely enclosed with fencing and is not conducive to pets. Sorry! I recommended that small children be supervised outside at all times because the property is not fully enclosed, but quiet and safe. The cottage is CLEAN, warm and cozy, and mountain rustic. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms each with Smart TV's, 2 bathrooms with one bathtub, a full kitchen and a small dining or breakfast nook. The living room is comfortably furnished, with Cable and Smart TV, and a wood stove perfect for cold winter nights. Tahoe has strict restrictions on what months the stove can be used so normally the summer months are off limits for wood burning. There is a front deck and back deck, perfect for sipping wine and enjoying a barbeque.
We are Art and Debbie. We are 40 year residents of South Lake Tahoe California, and have owned this cottage for as long as we have been in the area. We raised our small family in this home. We now live in Nevada, and are excited to offer a great place for visitors to enjoy Tahoe. We are very anxious to share the beauty and activities of this area with travelers.
Quiet neighborhood 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe, 25 minutes from casinos, surrounded by hiking, biking trails, mountain and forest views. Grocery store, gas station, golf course, located in small town of Meyers 5 minutes from cottage
