Property information

Grandma’s (newly renovated) Cottage is a charming home away from home. The serene country setting is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It is located just 2 miles from The Barn at Cedar Grove (a wedding venue) and only 15 to 20 minutes from Columbia and Greensburg. You’ll find the quaint, country kitchen fully equipped with cooking and serving utensils. It has 4 comfortable bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa. It has 2 bathrooms and a huge screened porch. Amenities include a washer and dryer, dishwasher, central heat and air, satellite TV and wi-fi. The 2 red rockers on the front porch are a peaceful place to sit with a morning cup of coffee. If you’re lucky you might spot a bald eagle or hawk in one of the tall cedars lining the lane. The screened porch is a perfect spot to enjoy the symphony of night sounds. The bull frogs at a nearby pond the crickets and the occasional hoot of an owl. You’ll find this peaceful country setting a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Neighbourhood information

This home is next door to our other property, The Little Farmhouse. It's off the beaten path in a quiet country setting. All of our properties are within 2 miles of The Barn at Cedar Grove, a very popular wedding venue! We are almost halfway (10-15 minutes) between the historic towns of Columbia and Greensburg, Kentucky...and just thirty minutes from Green River Lake.
