Discover Vilaroux, luxury self catering accommodation nestled in the tree-lined Papegaai Street, in the heart of Stellenbosch. This idyllic retreat comprises 7 fully equipped self-catering apartments and is managed by Suzette Le Roux. Stellenbosch is a historical village approximately 50km from Cape Town. It’s a university town that was founded in 1679 by Simon van der Stel and boasts one of the most popular wine routes in South Africa.

Neighbourhood information

Vilaroux is situated just off the historic Dorp Street which is known for its Victorian townhouses, Restaurants, oak trees and narrow canals. The famous Oom Samie se Winkel, the local general dealer which dates back to 1904, can also be found here. The Gothic-style Old Lutheran Church dating back to 1851 now accommodates the University of Stellenbosch's art gallery. Vilaroux is only 300 m from the Tourist Information Centre for up-to-date information on all the attractions in and around Stellenbosch. They will assist you in any tours you wish to undertake.
