Just 500 metres from Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station, The ibis Edinburgh is a 5-minute walk from Princes Street. The magnificent Edinburgh Castle is a 10-minute walk away.
I loved how easy it was to check in. The location was incredible and central to all the sites. I overslept the morning I had booked a tour of castle at 9:30am and still managed to make it on time, as it's a 9 minute walk from the hotel! The staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

A 5-minute walk from Waverley Train Station, ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge – Royal Mile provides centrally located accommodation in the Old Town. This Ibis hotel has a bar and restaurant, and offers free WiFi. The location was great. We walked everywhere from the hotel :) The room was clean and nice. And the staff was super friendly. Overall, we loved it ;D

The cheap budget accommodation is ideal for for someone just looking for a clean place to sleep and clean. personally, I was there only one night and it worked well for me. I don't think I would have booked a long stay.

It was a convenient place to stay before a 6am flight. I did not use any of the facilities (i.e. food) so I can't comment. For a budget hotel, it's not that cheap, but I guess it is a captive market. The room is basic but has everything you need. Shower is good.

Staff are kind, showers were nice, you can also store your luggage the day of checking out! One of the cheaper hotels in Edinburgh for sure, but you can see why. Fine for a ONE night stay on a budget.

Good price and all was how I expected - I have stayed in Ibis Budget Hotel in other cities in the past so it was exactly like the other ones. Enough towels for all of us, TV in the room, quiet. Compact but clean.

The Ibis Budget hotel is exactly what it says on the tin. It is an inexpensive hotel on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is a very simple hotel without frills but the price reflects that. It is a third of the price of a hotel in the city and just a short tram ride away from the city centre. The breakfast is again a simple fare but good value for money.
