Ibis Cancun Centro, Ibis hotel in Cancún

The air-conditioned rooms at the Ibis Cancún Centro feature parquet floors and modern décor. Each one has a work desk and a private bathroom with a hairdryer.

The restaurant at the Ibis serves traditional Mexican food. The breakfast combines continental and regional elements. What I like was the amenities provided by hotel (hot water for bath, clean towels, shower soap, complementary water on reception everyday), and the most important the room was cleaned and tidy everyday. Cleaners and staff in the restaurant were pretty friendly.

    It's reasonably priced and if you know what you are getting into and do some prep you could have a decent budget Cancun holiday here. Right across the road from Isle of Mujeres ferry - we did a great day trip from there. Buses to downtown are frequent and cheap. I really don't understand Cancun and I don't think I'll return but if you rented a car this place could really work as alternative to the giant and very expensive all-in resorts down the road

    Cheapest private room I found in central Cancun... it was adequate for a night or two if you're passing through town and on a budget. There was a nice courtyard with a big ol' tree and a few tortugas in the fountain.
