So many things, and it was little touches also, like a slow close toilet seat, divider in the bin for general and recycling, a massive tv and a beautiful tub, I'm only sorry we didn't get to enjoy it for that long as we had quite a late arrival and we were heading to an activity early the next day but we had dinner and breakfast there and it was gorgeous.

Delightful hotel, staff were lovely and the food was fantastic. Our only regret was that we only stayed one night - we plan to go back for longer.

We had never stayed in accommodation such as The Cozy Cub before and this was a wonderful surprise, located within a 30 acre, private property!! Very well done and the space was utilised extremely well. It provided everything we needed - a comfortable bed, small kitchenette which worked perfectly, a surprisingly large bathroom with shower and great heating. The Cozy Cub was extremely comfortable and the decor oozed charm and character. The view out the front windows was outstanding, across lawn into fields and we enjoyed just sitting up in bed each morning, just taking in the peace and serenity. Outside the front, there was a hot tub which John, the Host, offered to pre-heat for us so it was ready for use when we wanted it. There was a fire pit/bbq and plenty of seating to enjoy the outside. We loved our stay at the Cozy Cub and would have stayed longer if availability had allowed it. To top it off, the Hosts, John and Suzy, were the loveliest people, always there if we needed anything, but didn't encroach on our space. They had also decorated the whole property for Halloween and at night it was like a fairyland - so pretty!! A huge thanks to John and Suzy for a really wonderful and memorable stay!! We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a slightly alternative option. Five stars!!!

We stayed here in the Lapwing Hut, last minute booking. When we arrived, we were greeted by one of the owners who brought some fresh milk, bread, and butter (the sourdough bread was out of this world!!). A hamper of breakfast cereals, jam, coffee, and marshmallows for the firepit was provided. The hut is a trailer modernised wonderfully amd cosy warm even though it was -1 outside. Compact but functional kitchenette with everything you need. Hot water is virtually instant from the boiler too. The bed is extremely comfortable, and we slept like logs! The hot-tub... wow! After stoking the furnace for some time (3 hours until hot for us), what an exhilarating experience under the starts!! It was beautiful! We had the pleasure of some young deer visitors in the morning and also, one of the resident peacocks came to say hi. To the say that we had a great time would be an understatement! We will be returning!! PS less than 10 mins drive to retail park and 15 mins to Stonehenge!!

The cabin is more tranquil and beautiful than the pictures are able to show. Other than the sounds of nature it is so quiet and secluded, a real break from the chaos of life. Inside the cabin is clean amd stylish, with a wonderfully comfortable bed adorned with egyptian cotton sheets, facing a large window that has gorgeous veiws of the woods. The hosts very thoughtfully supplied some fire wood, tea/coffee, fresh towels, sliders to wear outside and a little welcome treat! Locally there are several good pubs, The Duke on the Test was our favourite, most of them are within walking distance (remember to stay hydratrated if it's hot!) And Romsey is a short drive away. All in all we 100% be returning, thank you for an amazing, relaxing getaway.

The garden and views were beautiful and the house itself was very large and perfect for our family gathering. The ground floor bedroom and bathroom were particularly perfect for our elderly relations. Welcome pack was lovely and there was everything in the house you could need.
