The best experience that we had on our trip to Tokyo. It was certainly the right call to book this ryokan for one of the last days in one of a more calmer districts of Asakusa. The customer service was exceptional and staying the night in a ryokan with a private onsen is something that we would never forget. Also the traditional Japanese breakfast is highly recommended.

This was one of the best hotels I have experienced in my whole life. Every detail is thought about. Number one favourite thing for us was the garden. Absolute magic. We tried every restaurant in the hotel and each was exceptional. With two small kids, ages 5 and 2, this was the perfect hotel. I was sad to leave and can’t wait to come back.

We’re so glad we chose this home instead of a hotel. The house was spacious and relaxing, perfect for our group with small children. We could spend time comfortably without worrying about noise or space. Although it’s a private rental, it has official hotel licensing, so we felt very secure. Everything was clean and well-prepared. Our kids loved the themed rooms and enjoyed picking their favorite each night. The rooftop terrace with a view of the illuminated Tokyo Skytree was a highlight for the adults — peaceful and memorable. The area was quiet and local, but it was easy to reach major attractions. There were also lots of great restaurants, a sento (public bath), and convenience stores nearby. Family-friendly items like a free stroller, kids’ cutlery, and step stools made a big difference. We could really relax like at home. If you want both the reliability of a hotel and the comfort of a home, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!

The room was fully equipped with washing machine, microwave + cooking pan & hotplate. Spotlessly clean, and a good size for a Japanese hotel room. Washing can be aired dry on the balcony. Very convenient for the Skytree metro station, one stop along which you can switch to the JR line (useful if you have a (tourist) JR Travel Pass). I recommend exiting the Skytree station (Oschiage) via Exit B1. Excellent communication with the owner at all times. Great value for money. If we come to Tokyo again, this will be our first choice - if there is a free room!
