The Shilla was excellent. Service was outstanding - every staff member I met was warm and friendly and remembered my name which made my stay feel extra special. I loved the wellness centre - a variety of facilities and I could spend a lot of time there. I used the pool, jacuzzis, sauna and gym. This is our first stay in Korea, we were on a trip to get our cat properly transfer to Australia. The cat hotel that our cat stays at is just one station away from the hotel, so this hotel appears in our search. The location is premium, just a few minutes walk from the station, near the main street where loads of restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience shops are. The BBQ down the street was pretty good as well. We also had a lovely interaction with the hotel manager, who definitely saved our day later, cuz we needed to go to the quarantine department to go through the documents and procedures. We asked a favour if we could place our luggage in the hotel, and pick it up again after everything is sorted. The language barrier did not stop the warmth and kindness from the manager; he smiled and nodded, so we didn't have to go through the hassle of travelling with 2 suitcases and 1 huge backpack. I just wanna say, thank you, and the hotel itself is perfect in every sense, the self check-in system is advanced and quick, it is a hidden gem in the area, I would definitely recommend this hotel if your destination is near.

We stayed as a family with 2 small kids and the hotel was very accommodating with a room service kid's menu and kid's plates and cups at breakfast. The location is great as it is right near the subway station. A very cool and modern hotel.

Our stay could not have been better - the rooms and facilities were excellent. The gym and sauna were exceptional and a real highlight for our short stay. However the staff were the real differentiator - the reception and porter team (it seems unfair to call such professional and helpful people porters but I don’t have another word!) were so kind and did their absolute best to assist us. I also spoke with the concierge to assist with mailing a package and with customer service to arrange luggage storage during a day trip and I could not have had a better experience. The team were exceptional in every way!
