The place was extremly clean, well designed, comfortable, spacious and modern. Staff and the owner were something you could just wish for-always there to help, smiling and ready to talk. We had the best Srilankan breakfast, which was more of an experience - I highly recommend it! When we arrived, they welcomed us with cold towels and some refreshing watermellon juice. We also got complimentary Xmass breakfast. Thank you for everything, Boutique by Sa team!

Janaka is THE host—truly exceptional in the hospitality scene in Sri Lanka. He is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home, while also being highly professional and attentive to all our needs. He went out of his way to help us plan our days in Mihintale exactly as we wished—and what he managed to organize for us was no small feat! He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. It's rich with temples and spiritual atmosphere. Stay at Janaka’s place, ask him for advice, and you won’t be disappointed.

The room was very clean, and the owner was friendly. There is a double bed, flat screen TV, cloth rack, mirror and a fan in the room. Also hot water is available. If you want anything like water bottles, soaps, toothbrushes you can ask from the ower. He will supply those. Specially this place is very close to the town as well as the Sri Maha Bodhiya and Ruwanweliseya.

We had a nice stay at Gamodh Citadel Resort. The room was good and the pool amazing. We also liked the breakfast a lot. Nuwan from the Lobby was very nice and he would help us out on everything. Thank you very much! :)

Still very good to reach by tuk tuk, by train: from Colombo to Jaffna stop Parasanfaswewa - railwaystation S. Titon. Etc. 5 minutes from busstop. From Anuradhapura busstation bus no 861. Stop Paradanjaswewa, Jambirija Swewa road. Or bus nr 161. Busstop Village Garden Inn, Ithalakotiyawrwa. More information to get from host 071-3121570 (0094). If you stay a week or more a kitchen can be used. Every day around 18.00 hours you can see elephants quite nearby at one of the thee lakes. 2 or 3 or 6. Very exiting. They come to drink water. Ashen the caretaker was brilliant. He went out of his way to make sure we got everything we wanted. I cannot say more of his service. He also got us the VIP car park FOC at Ruwanweliseya and Sri Maha Bodhi. This he volunteeringly did without us requesting. Further he gave us his fullest support for preparing food early morning Kiri pidu Dahana which is a religious ceremony. Food prepared by him was exceptional. What we wanted he prepared and was so delicious, we all ate above our capacity. Very comfortable, Luxuriously and Spacious rooms. Our next stay is definitely at this premises. We have even mentioned to all our friends on this experience and to make sure they visit this place. Guys traveling by train has the station at its door step. Lovely, peaceful quite environment.
