The room was spotlessly clean, and the private jacuzzi was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is located in the heart of town, with plenty of lovely cafés within walking distance. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace — it was delicious. The owner and their family were so kind and welcoming. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. If we ever come back to Ella, we’ll definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Tranquility Ella. The place exceeded our expectations. The facilities were excellent, the food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. I had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Ella. It’s located outside the busy tourist and restaurant area, in a peaceful setting where you can truly relax. At the same time, if you enjoy walking, the town is still within reach. The best part? The iconic Nine Arches Bridge is just a few steps away, and you can even see it from the property! The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and I had warm water for showers. Fresh towels were also provided, which was a nice touch. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They genuinely care about their guests, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was another highlight—huge portions, delicious local flavors, and the freshest sweet fruits, all enjoyed with a stunning view. A lovely touch was the free pick-up from the train station on arrival and a drop-off at the bus station when I left. The owners also arranged a fair-priced transfer to a monastery and waterfalls, making my stay even more enjoyable. They also showed me around their tea plantation and prepare a delicious fair priced dinner for me upon mu arrival. Overall, I highly recommend this homestay. It offers a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility, with wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. A great place to experience the local way of life in Ella!

Really nice private getaway if you want to have alone time. Amazing view and very nice hosts. They were helping with everything and super kind. Food was prepared for us and tea served. So it was truly nice experience!

A place to be, far away from the city and all the hustle and bustle. Here you can listen to the birds and take time for yourself. Incredibly beautiful to be so close to heaven. And by the way, the devel chicken was one of the best we had eaten in all of Sri Lanka.

Best hotel in ella for sure and best service we have ever had the staff are incredible we felt always VIP. We were welcome with drinks and fruit plate. They make us special meals we asked. The location is the best few steps from the city center. The pool is nice but water is very cold. The room was amazing ask a room with terrace. The view was incredible. Definately we will come back.

The hotel offers great value for the money. It’s located on a lush, jungle-covered mountainside full of birds, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise—whether from your room or the restaurant. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. For us, the manager, Mr. Sameera, was especially helpful, advising us on our Ella trip.
