Elephant Fence was fantastic! We highly recommend staying here. We got in late off a train from Colombo (~8:00pm) and the owners welcomed us and served us dinner at Chill & Grill (their adjoining restaurant). The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more (wifi, mini fridge and aircon). The accommodation is quiet and surrounded by nature. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here - it was so yum! We did a cooking class with the owners and would highly recommend you do the same!

Kumara and his wife took really good care of us. Their place really is hidden in a lovely garden, with a nice pattio and hammocks under palm trees. The most special thing about this place is the food: it is organic and local (from the garden or the neighbours). Everyday you can try something else. The hosts offer cooking classes in a traditional mud hut. Additionaly Kumara showed us a lot of places: Rigitale Mountain, Sigiriya, Dambulla, but also some batik, jewelry and spice shops.

The surrounding was full of nature , its calming. The breakfast was great and have variety of selection. They provide transport to go to sigiriya lion rock and all the staffs were friendly and hospitable. Special mention to staff sajeeve rajabakse for taking good care of us during our short trip there.

Liked everything about this hotel, the staff were lovely and attentive, the facilities were great and we were close to many of the attractions we wanted to see. There weren't many guests at the time we stayed, but that made our experience better! We booked a bigger room with a plunge pool which without many guests we didn't need but it did feel like we were royalty!

This is a boutique hotel with 12 rooms. The staff is more hospitable. Specially Shehara and credit to the hotel manager. At the time of check-in we received a welcome juice and cool towels. The room was spacious, wonderful hot shower with all the bathroom amenities, tea and coffee making facilities with mini fridge. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Spotlessly clean. We had dinner at the hotel. The food was good. There are two types of Breakfast. Western and Sri Lankan. The kitchen needs a 12 hours prep time for breakfast. So we ordered the day before for the following day breakfast. Western Breakfast includes : Tea or Coffee as per your choice, Fruit Platter, 3 Pan Cakes, Two Eggs as per your choice., Sausages, Chicken Bacon and Beans.
