Amazing place in the desert. Very clean. Fantastic room/tent/dome. Super friendly hosts (both brothers) who mingled with the guest during dinner and shared insights on living in the desert.
We did the Dunes Bashing with a beautiful sunset view and the 3 hour desert tour.
Generous portions for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We recommend staying there two (2) nights.

The beautifully restored historical house with museum located next to the old castle near a wonderful beach in Taqah was our favourite hotel and area during our 2 week travels throughout Oman. The staff were highly competent and great hosts. Service and breakfast were excellent. 10 from 10 points.

I stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel in Muscat, Oman for three nights, and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, everything was simply perfect.
What truly stood out was the incredible staff – by far the friendliest and most welcoming people I’ve encountered in all my years of traveling. Every interaction, from reception to housekeeping to restaurant service, was warm, genuine, and made me feel like a valued guest.
The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully designed, but somehow still feels like a hidden gem – it’s seriously underrated for the quality it delivers. Whether you're visiting Muscat for business or leisure, I highly recommend staying here.
