Both Luis and Djalma were amazing and hospitable, you can tell that they like having people around. When I booked, I wasn't expecting much, with the price, I was hoping to just have a lovely place to rest. Though to my surprise the host were amazing, they were so welcoming from the moment I got to the house all the way till when I left, eventhough I didn't speak Portuguese, they still took time to converse with me using a translator. The house is nicely decorated and has a lot of charm while looking out to the mountains and hills, I felt relaxed and calm during my stay.

Everything was perfect—the staff, breakfast, room, location, the view of the Douro River, and the Jacuzzi. We were able to enjoy it even in the cold weather. We’ll definitely come back again.

The property is wonderful; we travel to a lot of high end hotels and this was really great service and accommodations. This hotel is very special, food is wonderful, staff is extremely helpful and attention to details made our trip very enjoyable. The owners were wonderful and very helpful with all their recommendations and advice. The views are stunning and the rooms were beautifully presented. Breakfast for very extensive for a B&B with just 4 rooms. Everything was very tasty and freshly prepared.

The views are amazing!! For once even better than promised by the pictures👌 Everything worked, and the quality is well worth thw price. We stayd there on a quiet night but it may be good to check in advance if there are bigger events happening - it’s a popular wedding and party venue, for a good reason😊
