The rooms are fantastic as well as the en suite bathrooms. The fire-heated hottub is the perfect place to unwind after touring the fantastic wine-estates Robertson has to offer. Braam and his staff are incredibly helpful. If you are lucky enough to get the chance, go visit the restaurant as well!

The owner has put so much thought and effort into designing the house to perfection. Every detail, from the dishes and coasters to the beautiful soaps, felt unique and special. We had a blast playing pickleball and the trampoline was an absolute highlight for the kids—they couldn’t get enough of it! Assegaai Rest was a hit with my family! They could not stop raving about the tipis, the cleanliness, and the warm hospitality they encountered. Rustic, peaceful and very comfortable. You get the benefit of feeling like you are on a farm whilst still only a short walk into town. Farm fresh eggs, milk and rusks provided in the kitchen as well as local wine selection all added a welcome touch. The outdoor shower from which you can see the mountains was also a highlight.
