A very beautiful little Hotel right next to the Park Entrance. Perfect place to start your Hikes. The host Anthony is English speaking and very welcoming, he helped us to book tickets and recommended suitable routes through the park and took the time to chat with us every night over a beer or two and telling us about Zhangjiajie. The Rooms are large and newly decorated, everything from Beds to Bathrooms are brand new. There are several restaurants along the road in short walking distance. I can't think of a better place to stay if you want to visit Wulingyuan. Great Value. Highly recommended.

Situated just 32 km from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Heaven's Gate Home Stay --free pick up service--panoramic view of Tianmen Mountain features accommodation in Zhangjiajie with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The homestay has a pool with a view with a pool bar, as well as a hot tub and free shuttle service. This inn is like an old-school Zimmer. It is a family owned small hotel where the father cooks, the mother housekeeping and the son is the host / front desk. Our host was super communicative, gave us lifts to different places and provided airport pick ups. Each evening, he helped us to plan the next day, gave us maps, points, helpful tips and booked discount tickets for us, The food is amazing, The dinner is fine and authentic but breakfast was the star of the show, and they even packed us with some snacks for the road. The location is bit secluded: it is very quite with amazing view but you are required a taxi to go around. Overall, it was one of the best stays in mainland China we had and it is absolutely recommended. 11/10

It’s such a great location. It’s close to the Main Street where there’s lots of food options and shopping. It’s right by the river walk which is so nice. It’s a 15min walk to zhangjiajie national park entrance! Lastly, the staff here are absolutely fantastic. She customized our stay by recommending an itinerary on our arrival based on our duration of stay. Very thorough and helpful. Would highly recommend this place!

What a great spot! The hotel is right next to the Helong Stadium with tons to do, and the Lishui River view is so peaceful. The staff were super professional and friendly. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the lake and river. the room was lovely with a view and air conditioned and clean. the people running the hotel were very helpful to us as foreigners. they drove us to the Southgate entrance of Zhangjiajie national park which a 4 min drive and cooked us dinner for 40 yuan which was very helpful as the area is more quiet. this might be an option for you if they are available that night. there is also a restaurant across the road which was great! the hotel also offers a basic breakfast for free. Theres a busier area with fruit market stalls and more restaurants about a 20 min walk. the lady working there was very patient with us and helped us book all of our national park and day trip tickets (i would suggest doing this before you come to avoid missing out in busy seasons).
