The place is quite far from the touristy La Fortuna and it is perfect to enjoy the peaceful nature. It is like living in paradise. All the details were well thought of. The rooms are excellent as well as the staff! Everyone was very helpful and kind. They also helped us to create a plan for the rest of our trip after leaving this place (Thanks Andrés!).

(92 ft.) wildlife observation tower, The Nest. Arenal Lake is an excellent site to practice sports fishing. There are also 11 km of walking trails throughout the property, or guests can just relax in the hot tub or have a massage in the spa. The location close to the volcano was amazing. The swimming pool and heated jacuzzi were top notch, and accessing them through a hanging bridge was an awesome experience. The room was also very nice.

Each room features tiled floors and comes with a desk, coffee maker and cable TV. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and shower. Breakfast was exceptionally good. The food at the restaurant was also good and affordable. The hot springs are in good condition and surrounded by nature. The restaurant and pool have a nice view of the volcano, but not from the room though.

The architecture was stunning — modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The space was well laid out, spotless, and clearly well maintained. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the host was great throughout the process. I’d definitely stay here again!

The manager/owner went out of his way to come by the property with a card reader for payment. He then suggested a few options for excursions.

Speaking English and Spanish, staff are ready to help around the clock at the reception. Everything about the experience was over the top! No complaints. The accommodations were fantastic and staff were excellent. They were very friendly and accommodating. And everywhere we went we were greeted with a smile and friendly, "Buenos Dias! ".
