Our hosts Ilse & Dennis really made us feel at home with drinks and food nibbles on arrival served out in their beautiful courtyard. We were travelling with our dog Aria who was also treated as if she was in her own home. The house is really spectacular and decorated to a 5 star hotel standard. Excellent facilities in bedroom including a fruit basket and water and there was tea and coffee making facilities in a very comfortable common area with a log burning stove. We had dinner that evening which was delicious and was prepared by Ilse who is a professional chef. Breakfast was deliciously prepared by Dennis with a large selection of products including lovely eggs and bacon. The food here is 5 star standard. We would strongly recommend this place to stay for one or more nights and we will definitely be back.

We appreciated especially the pressed orange jus and the home-made lemon jam. Last, but not least, the Hostess was so nice and welcoming and caringly, taking so good care of us. We We’ll definitely stay here next time we come to Chef-Boutonnne. Thank you! … one tiny special observation: the wardrobe had ENOUGH clothes hangers (not common in many hotels).
