Located at the foot of Mount Taygetos and at the heart of the Messinian Gulf, Akti Taygetos - Conference Resort is a few metres of the beach and features a large swimming pool with hot tub, and a private beach area. The property includes 3 bars, one of which is beachfront, and 2 restaurants and offers free WiFi access throughout. The centre of Kalamata is 6 km away. So, the hotel was really great, and we even got a free upgrade. Everything was brand new, very modern, and the room had a beautiful view of the sea. The room itself was really comfortable, with a huge window, and the service was especially attentive. We really liked it because even the TV channels were available in German, and we were welcomed with a small bottle of wine and two bottles of water, plus all the toiletries. There was also a beach bag, and I especially want to mention that the breakfast was wonderful, with lots of delicious Greek specialties and a wide variety of options for every taste. The spa was also fantastic; I treated myself to a massage, and the quality was very professional and excellent. The beach that belonged to the hotel was also lovely, with a great view, and overall, I can only recommend it.

Some highlights - fresh orange juice, cherry tomatoes, different pies, fresh fruit, various bread. Milk and juice are served in one-portion glass bottles, which is a huge plus. Beds were super comfy and quite large. The room was spacious and clean. The AC is extremely quiet, which is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel has two parking yards in the vicinity (2 and 3 minutes away) - during our two week stay, we were always able to find a spot in the closer one, except for one Saturday.

Staff were super helpful and kind. The suite was lovely, comfortable beds and contained all the amenities needed for a great stay in Kalamata. I appreciated that the kitchenette was well stocked. The location even has laundry facilities and balcony with clothes drying racks, which was helpful during our stay. The location is a great middle ground between the beach and city center.

With a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel has an indoor pool and room service. Absolutely amazing place. The hotel located in the middle of the Taygatos mountain, not far from Kalamata, is incredibly comfortable. After a beautiful visit of Mystras, the way through the mountain to get to Denthis hotel is breath taking. We were welcome by the three most adorable, smiling and welcoming ladies who immediately did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. We had the most comfortable modern hotel on one hand and the charm of a family hotel feel from those ladies on the other hand, and that was magical. Being able to swim in the pool after a hot and exhausting day was so invigorating. The breakfast is varied, generous and delicious, served on a terrace with a nice mountain view. Very nice dinner too. The Suite bedroom is a must, spacious, high-quality linen and cushions, very comfortable, with a large terrace. We slept like babies. Our 10 years old son loved the place and the kindness of the staff. We will definitely be back, but we will stay more than one night this time. A big thank you and bravo to the Denthis ladies!

Petrichor has very nice owners and friendly staff. We arrived early, but it was no problem to check in. During our stay they asked via WhatsApp if we need anything and the cleaning staff was so fast and professional, we were amazed. We stayed for a week and were both working, so having a desk and a table as well as stable WiFi was nice. Overall it is a very beautiful apartment, with good furniture and comfy beds. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony. And they have their own Café next door, if you need a good Cappuccino.
