The accommodation was absolutely fine, as the pictures show. It was clean and huge, with two bathrooms and two balconies, in fact we didn't use half of them. The host Josipa was very nice, she informed us about everything, what and where to find in the area, how to get there on foot and by car. Hvar is beautiful, but I recommend it only for fit travellers, because there are a lot of stairs and big differences in levels to walk to get from A to B. It was a pleasant heartache to walk back to the apartment every time. The area is quiet and peaceful and we could see the beautiful sunset from the balcony every day.

If you like admire stunning panorama view from your terrace or from the jakuzzi with a glass of croatian wine or just admire the stars and listen the songs of cicadas this is YOUR place! One day we will return, I hope verry soon.

We stayed in Stari Grad the last two nights of our 8 days in Croatia and it was by far the best stop on our trip. The Villa was amazing with a few of the water and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Situated in Jelsa and only 500 metres from Fontana Beach, Apartment di Matteo features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This apartment provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The apartment has a hot tub and private check-in and check-out. One of the best hospitality experiences ever. Damir is super kind and helpful. He greeted us with olives, ham and cheese plate, delicious domestic wines and grappa. The apartment is wonderful, spacious, with an awesome view of the harbor. We could allow ourselves to spend a day inside because of the vibe of this place, and didn’t feel like we ‘need’ to go anywhere. If you’re with car, everything is pretty close, otherwise you can rent bikes or scooters. The centre/port is approximately 10 minutes on foot. Can’t wait to be back! 🤟🏼

The sunset panorama was beyond words. The place is all new and clean with owners being available at all times. Parking is outside in front of the house.

The villa with a terrace and garden views features 2 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 2 bathrooms with a hot tub. Towels and bed linen are featured in the villa. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Everything. It was beautifully restored and equipped. The photos of it were good… but the property was even better once we saw it. The location (central on the island really) have amazing views and was perfect for the wonderful coves/beaches in the NW, E and South. A car/scooter is essential from this Villa, but the village restaurant ensures that you can eat locally (and well) if you choose. Everything in the Villa is ‘too spec’ - lovely kitchen/BBQ area, private Hot-tub, super bed rooms and bathrooms… just perfect. A superb service from Sanja - who met us before and at the end of our stay. She offered so much advice and tips for the island - and was on the end of a phone if we needed her.

The apartment also offers an outdoor swimming pool and a sauna for guests to relax in. Outdoor play equipment is also available at Lux & View - Sveta Nedjelja, while guests can also relax in the garden. Petra was an amazing host and the property was really beautiful and well equipped.
