The rooms of Villa Athena Resort are air conditioned, and feature a TV and a private marble bathroom. Some have views of the garden, and some overlook the temples. An American breakfast is served daily. If you come to see the temples, there is no better place to stay than this hotel. It was so lovely to be able to walk out of the hotel and be at the temples within 5 minutes; and to look out of the window and see the Temple of Concordia right there on a hill above you. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when I return to Agrigento.

We were there with other guests and still enjoyed privacy. The breakfasts included omelettes, fruit, breads, yogurt, cereal and coffee of choice all custom made. The evening sunset views are amazing! The owner and property manager are very friendly and eager to please. We had a lovely stay!

And such a great little quiet town.

With views of the garden with pool, the air-conditioned rooms have a private entrance, an LED TV and a desk. The private bathroom comes with a shower, free toiletries and hairdryer. Everything! Antonella is a great host - we got a welcome drink on arrival, and lots of information about restaurants and things to do. Communication by whattsapp before arrival (and for any information whilst staying there),was great. The room was lovely and quiet, with a great shower and a balcony with a spectacular view across the valley, and down to the beautiful swimming pool below. Breakfast was delicious and always included some homemade cakes. Fresh oranges were available to make juice with a juicing machine. A car is a necessity here, but parking is in a locked yard for which we were given a remote control to open the gate. And on the one day we took a taxi in and out of town, Antonella helped us organise that. Many thanks to Antonella, Toto (and their friendly 3-legged dog Hugo!)
