We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves…. This is a fantastic little hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The downstairs area is beautiful with drinks available free of charge at all times, and board games to sit and play. We also used the private bath which was lovely. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The shower was good and there was a little heater in the bathroom as well as a bigger one in the bedroom so you could get everywhere cosy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was very good value for money. It was a short walk to the historic area and the station is about 10 mins walk. There are cafes and restaurants very close to the hotel. We would defiantly stay here again.
