Really great hotel with clean and spacious bungalows and a lovely garden with all sorts of fascinating friendly animal visitors (monkeys, monitor lizards, peacocks, etc) and also a great pool to chill out. The bungalows are very clean and equipeed with AC and good shower and have a nice view of the garden. And also they are not to cramped together, the area is very spacious. We also enjoyed the homemade breakfast a lot. Closeby is also a very nice restaurant open until late with delicious food. We can definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in sigiriya!

Anu was extremely kind and cute and help us giving us many information about our trip, Pianta brought us around the city with his tuktuk and let us discover the local part of the city. The mum prepare for us incredibly tasty dinner and breakfast! The location is wonderful, in the middle of the forest!

The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. Waking up to birdsong and mist-covered hills was a dream. Breakfast was delicious—fresh, generous portions, and served with a smile. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Whether you’re visiting Kandy for culture, nature, or simply to relax, I can’t recommend Mount Haven enough. A true hidden gem! What I like the most is the host, they are very nice, and their dog “Bella” is also lovely. Hope to have a chance to visit Kandy and stay here again.

The food prepared was absolutely delicious and the view is unbelievable. I loved that they gave me water all the time and made sure I was always okay. 100% recommend if you come to Kandy.
