It’s a fabulous place to be both active and relax: it’s right on the Queen Charlotte Track, we borrowed the kayaks, and we swam in the water. We also enjoyed sitting in the hammocks and relaxing in the hot tub. The food was delicious (though I found the prices a bit high for NZ) and enjoyed in their lovely dining room or patio. The service was great! We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.

Excellent kitchen, TV (if you can ignore your surroundings), very comfortable bed, great bathroom. Alexa can open and close blinds, and manage lighting and music. My husband declared he would not leave until the cleaners arrived or we needed to walk to the train.

Guests can socialise in the shared lounge, or enjoy a meal using the BBQ facilities. The lady at reception was amazing. The beds are comfortable. The blankets are soft and clean. The kitchen is super clean! The bathroom is super clean! I looooooved listening to music while taking a bath and making myself beautiful.

Really comfy bed and the best shower yet. We had our dog with us and she was allowed to sleep inside.. in her bed. There was plenty of milk and even breakfast things to help ourselves to.
