The Mayana Resort was an excellent choice for that night, being located close to the airport, the Tagbilaran port and some really beautiful beaches of Panglao Island. The food is excellent and special, featuring some Swiss-influenced dishes as well as a range of dishes with ostrich (something you will rarely find in most ASEAN countries). Also worth mentioning is the great value for money.

At Treehouse de Valentine guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. This was such a magical place. Having your own cabin in such peaceful surroundings is wonderful. The staff were really friendly and everything was perfect. We only stayed for one night and did wonderful before if it was worth travelling from Cebu city for the one night. It completely was, two nights would have also been amazing but one night was great. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very big.
