I do not remember the last time I was this happy with a hotel. My wife and I asked if we could get a room with one big bed instead of two beds, and we were upgraded to a wonderful room with a terrace - the explanation was "we like to make our customers happy"! Our friends, who arrived one day after us, had their camera bag mistakenly taken by someone at the airport. Marta, whose sole purpose seems to be customer satisfaction, arranged for their Tesla shuttle driver to help them through this unfortunate situation and then even drive over 60 km to recover the bag before bringing them to the hotel... simply incredible! Also good to know is that thanks to the nearby Metro station, getting around was a breeze. We recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone. Obrigada Marta, and a big thank you to all your colleagues.

The hotel is very modern but has been done sympathetic to its surroundings. Everything is spotless and the staff are excellent. The beds were supremely comfortable.

All rooms have access to a balcony with views of the UNESCO's World Heritage Site of Douro Valley and include a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Certain rooms feature a seating area where you can relax, and guests are welcome to use the shared lounge. The owners went out of their way to be helpful and efficient - very nice people. We loved the pool and surrounding decks and the view of the river Douro was spectacular. A very nice breakfast was offered in a very pleasant room with the same wonderful view.

Among other facilities offered there is a fitness centre, a games room, a shared lounge and meeting facilities for up to 70 people. The staff was very nice. The spa conditions and pools were great.
