Bamboo Eco Village was our final stop in Vietnam, and we had everything we could have hoped for here: a beautiful garden, a stunning pool to cool off in, a restaurant with a wide variety of delicious options at reasonable prices. This Hotel was a wonderful experience. Located across the river in a little village away from the noise and ugliness of Can Tho city. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Fastest way to Can Tho was by motorboat across the river, and we were able to order the free return trip any time we liked. The food was exceptional, and probably the best we had during the whole Vietnam trip North to South. Fresh, aromatic, tasty, wonderful. We went for a walk around the village one night and discovered a small family noodle making shop. People pay to go to see tourist versions of these and we found a real one right on our doorstep. The hotel provided free bicycles and we discovered some really interesting paths to ride along through villages and vegetable fields. This hotel is a much better option if you are visiting Can Tho than the run of the mill stuff in the city. And you can watch the sunset and the city lights across the river from the beautiful hotel jetty. Recommended without hesitation.

Upon arrival we received a prepared list of interesting places to visit, recommended restaurants (also vegetarian - which was very helpful for us) and a large plate of fresh fruit. The room was spacious, cleaned every day, with water, tea and coffee refills. A large bathroom, with a shower and hot water, large windows on the walls, a small swimming pool on the roof and .. a kitchen where you can prepare something if necessary. The service was also very nice and helpful, speaking English, which is a great convenience in communication. There is a very nice beach nearby - about 10-15 minutes walk. With a scooter you can see the island from the other side - it is more wild and uninhabited

We had a private tour of the Cai Rang floating market and our guide, Vinh was the nicest young man who explained everything well and was really friendly and approachable. The lodge has a really beautiful layout to explore and the pool is gorgeous, we spent hours in the. We also did a cooking class which was really worthwhile, once again, all to ourselves. The room was really nice, massive bed and gorgeous timber bath
