Hotel staff, especially the front desk managers, serve guests like friends and are very cordial. I felt at home. I've stayed in several hotels in Shenzhen but this one is the best. Other hotels are corporations and you will feel good here. Don't hesitate, you will be satisfied. Very good breakfasts. More prepared for guests from China than Europe. But everyone will find something for themselves.

I’ve been working in China for over 25 years, and for the past 15, I’ve made it a habit to stay in the Shangri-La hotels chain — mainly for the consistency and predictability. With a bit of humour, I’d say the CEO of this hotel probably has the easiest job in the world, because the staff does it all. From reception to housekeeping, from room service to concierge, the "Horizon" Lounge team - every single person I encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making my stay comfortable. What impressed me most is that this wasn’t a one-time fluke. I’ve returned to this hotel several times over the past few years, and each visit reaffirmed my impression: the quality of service is consistently outstanding. The rooms are spotless, the beds comfortable, and everything works, which, for frequent travellers, is priceless. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like coming back, not just because it’s convenient, but because it feels like a home away from home—highly recommended.
