The hotel is great. This is the first hotel where I could not find any faults with the room and the bathroom. They thought about everything! The attention to detail is amazing. For eg; I always complain about not having enough hooks to hang towels; not in this hotel. I always gripe about not having enough space to lay out the toiletries; not in this hotel. They even have a small shelf over the toilet paper holder to place your phone or whatever. I always gripe about having a bath tub without a glass enclosure or curtain which leads to water going everywhere; not here. They have a bath tub and a separate shower. So no problem with water running everywhere. They even have small holder in the closet to put your ties! Talk about attention to detail! The hotel is in a great location within a few steps to the TV tower and other attractions. It is also an easy walk across to the “bund” on the other side of the river from here (more on the bund in another post). There are also two shopping malls just a few steps away for your shopping needs. The metro is also a very short 5 mins walk which takes you to from/to airport. Line 2 is a direct route from airport to Lujiazui area where the hotel is located. Most of the metro stations have elevators and escalators so it’s very convenient even if you have large luggage. The fare is 8 Yuan per person; unbelievable cheap and the trip takes about 35mins (more on the metro in another post). The staff at the hotel were great and always greeted me every time I walked by the lobby and in the elevator and very helpful. Even though not everyone spoke English, most of them knew some basic English to help you with your needs. However, for more detailed or complex discussions, you most probably have to look for someone who is fluent in English. But there’s always someone around. The place is very clean and well maintained except the carpets in the rooms may need to be replaced. They were not bad but looked worn out.

The accommodation is close to all Shanghai main attractions as well as closer to the Metro lines with connection toward all directions! The team managing the property are amazingly careful, always supportive and with the best intentions to help in having a good overall Shanghai experience (@Ben and Team, you are fantastic!) The rooms are spacious, well equipped with everything you need to enjoy the stay and feel like home! Cleaning is perfect and I always found my room so neat and clean, even I specifically did not wanted my bedclothes changed every day (and that did not happened) but they looked like . I had an amazing stay and cannot recommend the property more as it is so convenient and with such high level of services! Thank you all there!

This park is so relaxing to walk around. If you see people just inside entrance with signs but don't understand what it's all about. A quick little bit of research will tell you that it's parents looking to find a marriage partner for their adult children. The signs are all the details of their adult children. It's something that seems to be happening there for a long time.

Excellent location at one end of the Nanjing Road (pedestrian shopping street leading to the Bund - historic waterfront - about a 20-min stroll. Rooftop bar is good viewing spot for the city light show. The hotel opens directly into a high-end mall built on top of a metro station, so you can get anywhere without being rained on (handy if you go in monsoon/typhoon season!) Nice pool on 7th floor. Room was very large and comfortable. Nice views of People’s Square

The hotel was a few minutes walk from the crowded Nanjing Road, which was a relief. Walking distance (5 min walk) to People’s Square made it very convenient to take the metro. The staff was very helpful and professional. Special mention to Maria Huo at the reception, who helped us to check in earlier and sorted out my Marriott membership. Thank you!

I previously stayed at a Weflow Hostel in Shanghai, but this time I tried a different one and I found this one much better than the other! It's much bigger, easy to find, and has plenty of toilets and showers overall, just great. Don’t expect too many internationals, but that’s the case everywhere in China. I’ve seen more foreigners here than in my previous hostel anyway! It's close to the metro and just one stop away from People’s Square. There’s a mall and lots of food options nearby.

Yangtze Boutique Hotel was outstanding. Our room was very nice and quiet. It was well appointed and the bathroom was large with his & hers basins, bath, large walk in shower and a cool toilet with bidet. Hotel is on a relatively quiet side street, but close to People’s Square Metro, a short walk to Najing Rd pedestrian street and the Bund. There a decent mall directly across the road too. So heaps of dining options close by - the Japanese restaurant next door was great.

We loved the hostel! We had private rooms. Room was small but comfortable. Great bed, we slept very well! The room was perfectly cleaned. Great shower. The hostel common areas are great: there is a bar with so many drinks, free laundry and a work station on 3rd floor. What we loved the most was the location! So close to the metro and people’s square, it was perfect to explore the city. Staff were great and spoke english. Special mention to Niu, Li and Sha, most amazing staff! 100% recommended staying here!
