Grab a table at the cafe outside the Adlon and just sit for a bit with a drink and a snack - or have a meal; the food is great. The room was very big and spacious, there was a balcony with a nice view of the city and a full sized kitchen. The hotel had free self service laundry which made things convenient. I was there to attend performances at the opera Staaatsoper am Schiller theater. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the theater. There is a grocery store about 7-8 minutes from the hotel and another one about the same distance in another direction. It is about 30 minute walk to the Victory Column and an additional 30 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate and various memorials. Great flea/art market on Sundays (not sure if it is open on Saturdays). Deutsch Oper subway station is about 10 minute walk but I was always walking. Charlottenburg Palace is about 15 minutes away walking.Guest review byKennethUnited States
