We arrived in the evening with a rental car, and parking is definitely a challenge in Old Corfu town. Easy walk down to Faliraki Beach below the Old fortress. The host knew her town , where to eat and drink, and replied promptly thru whatsapp each time. Superb upstairs bedroom with view of sea opposite and second mezzanine bedroom, plus pull out bed settee. Only 20 mins walk from airport yet runway landing noise not heard. Lovely promenade walk into centre past old fortress area. Bus stop 2a outside for centre and further down near small supermarket one to Kanoni, which is a must to visit. The boat is located in the port on the exterior of the Old Fortress. It was an amazing opportunity to walk through the Old Fortress to get to our accommodation.
