This hotel is situated in an absolute perfect location! Right next to the river, it is ideal walking distance to all of the cities attractions and so many fabulous restaurants. Breakfast was amazing and the service !st class…..shout out to Francisco who was very charming. Also to the staff on the roof top bar….so fun and friendly! Finally our room was extremely spacious and so comfortable!

The renovation of the building and the design are first class, and the service matches - relaxed and friendly without being intrusive. The location is very central. I ate in both restaurants - both were great. I would definitely stay again.

Ponte Vecchio

Peruse the shops perched above the River Arno on this pedestrian bridge. Dating back to 972, its history is the stuff of storybooks. Ponte Vecchio’s seen it all from noble feuds to ruinous floods. Once a market where vendors sold meat, the smell of raw flesh tossed in the Arno disgusted the Medici dukes. Today’s retailers are much less carnivorous (they’re jewellers).

    If you can take the special tour along the secret passage from the Uffizi to the Pitti Palace. The walkway is along the windows atop the Ponte Vecchio. If shopping for gold jewelry etc. along the Ponte Vecchio, be sure to shop around.

    Ponte Vecchio is an amazing spot to buy jewelry from jewelers that have been in the business for centuries. The price of gold is standardized so not much point going from each place to ask about the price of gold, instead find a store that specializes in what you're looking for and has the style you like. Some places specialize in gems, others gold, others vintage pieces.

    Go really early for great photos without crowds or sunset and night. Bellisimo. Be careful when walking over the bridge in the day as it gets very crowded and artists put their drawings on the ground and if you walk on it, you buy it!

    You have to buy something from 18-karat gold here☺️! It’s not cheap but gold is tradition in Florence ( and leather). But be prepared that it’s only not crowded in the morning (when only few shops are open though).

    Our hotel was adjacent to this attraction so we had a daily view of it. The photo shown by booking.com does not resemble what it looked like in December. The bridge itself is wall to wall jewellery shops. A good time to visit is before or after they close. The shop fronts change back to the original wooden frontage and makes for a good photo.

    The apartment was perfect! Very clean and tastefully decorated, a combination of classic and modern. It is very well located, just a few minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio. There is also a supermarket a few meters away. We will definitely come back!

    Very nice and spacious apartment at the top of the building with a small balcony. The area is very quiet, but it is easy to walk to the centre of Florence (about 30 minutes to Ponte Vecchio) and there are good bus connections if you prefer. There are several good restaurants, wine bars and cafés in the area.

    The location was perfect! Stone throw from Ponte Vecchio and we were able to walk to attractions and to/from the station which was 20 minutes from the apartment. Everything was at door step - shops, restaurants and supermarket. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities expect for an oven even though the listing mentioned oven and microwave both. We were there for 5 days and wanted to eat in but it wasn't a deal breaker! Just an observation and we did inform the management.

    The location of this hotel is superb: just a few minutes' walk from the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, the Duomo, etc. And our room (No.5?) was fabulous: when we saw how central we were, we were initially a little concerned that it would be noisy - but we weren't affected at all. There's also a lovely common room, with excellent coffee-making facilities. If ever we return to Florence, we shall definitely want to return here: the decor, for one, is gorgeous.

    The apartment was beautiful and full of character. It was in a fantastic location right near the Ponte Vecchio. There's plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It was easy to walk into other areas of the town. Paulo provided many little comfort items for the stay which was very thoughtful.

    Located in the best place that can be imagined. Ponte Vecchio can be seen from the windows and the cute balcony. The Uffizi is just a couple of steps from the apartment as well as most popular places for shopping and sightseeing. The building has an elevator which is winner feature. Thanks to nice team that kindly answered all our questions and we’ve had the easiest and comfy check-in. I’m a Florence returner and this place helped me to feel the Florence experience like first time!
