United StatesHotel Patavium has a wonderful breakfast selection and a lovely space for breakfast that looks out over a small area of lawn/garden. You can eat inside or on a patio area. The location is fantastic, located about halfway between the train station and the town center - it's about a 20-minute walk to either of those. There is a little market a couple of doors down, a grocery store around the corner, and a laundrette on the same street - as well as many small restaurants and cafes nearby. I've stayed here before and liked it so much that I came back. The second time I decided on a slightly bigger room, and that made a lot of difference - on my previous trip, the room I was in (their smallest, least expensive one) didn't really have the desk space I needed, but I found the junior suite to be very spacious. And the jacuzzi tub was wonderful at the end of a long day of walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful - consistently true on both of my visits here.

United StatesWow, this hotel is amazing! You will feel like you made a great decision by staying here. The location is great, the staff is super helpful, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding! The price in October was quite reasonable I feel. The room and bathroom are modern and spacious. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Padua.

You can book the SPA for 1 1/2 hours a day for yourself to relax. Amazing, if you like SPAs.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. It is a small hotel, and they make you feel at home (we stayed 6 nights).
We got an upgrade to a suite, but next time I would pay for it. The room was large and it felt like a nice little apartment (room 2).

It was wonderful!
It was wonderful! I had studied Art History in college and always wanted to see it. It did not disappoint! Painted in 1306 by the Master Giotto and his students. Giotto was the first to give paintings feeling. Yes, they are stiff, but have human emotions. See the angels at Christs death- they are torn up that Jesus is dead. One angel is marking her face with her fingernails! The parting of the lovers, I can feel how much they love each other and how much they will miss eachother. The chapel is set in a QUIET park with modern artwork in the reception building and modern sculpture in the gardens. In the back of the property is a cafe decorated with Italian Maidens- such a serene setting.
