We had a great experience staying at Motosu Phoenix Hotel. The hotel itself is spacious with many rooms, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The buffet restaurant offered a great variety of delicious food, both for dinner and breakfast. The onsen is on the smaller side, but still very enjoyable and relaxing. There’s also a game center and free soft drinks available, which was a nice touch. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and worked well. One of the best things about the hotel is its location,just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Lake Motosu. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

We had a rainy stay - but still loved the traditional rooms and baths. The dinner was very delicious and breakfast was too. Location is close to more places if you have a car. Hope to come again and see more Fuji!

the authentic of japanese style of hotel, old but gold, very clean, have variety facilities, the onsen feels like private onsen even it wasn’t, the staff tried the best to communicate in english when weren’t understand japanese at all I’m so appreciate it🥹 the services were on POINT, when we arrive they’re welcoming us warmly, easy check in, and we got a lot compliments when we gonna check out, overwhelmed for the service till very last we’re there and much obliged shoji lake hotel🫰🏼💕
