After 4 delightful nights we were left with glowing memories of Nagoya and Lamp Light Books hotel. The book theme that runs from the bookstore with rental books in the lobby, to the key cards, and signage is quirky and adds character. The location was superb for our purposes. It's right beside a quiet tree-filled park and 5 minutes walk from a subway station. That station is only one station away from Nagoya Station which is massive and where all the Shinkansen trains leave from. There are a couple of convenience stores and local Izakaya restaurants close by. Our room had a cute little balcony with sliding doors that allowed airflow. Everything was ultra clean and you could opt for full room cleaning or just getting new towels. The staff are kind, efficient, and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here and exploring underrated Nagoya, especially the SC Maglev and Toyota museums.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The location was great: the subway station was directly in front of the hotel entrance, and it was a 10-minute walk to Sakae. The room was also amazing! The bed was so comfortable, and there were so many amenities.

We only stayed one night, but it was absolutely amazing! The hotel was stunning—beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully done. Our room was incredible: spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. The staff were exceptional—so helpful and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nagoya traffic freaking sucks brah cuz they ain't got no free pass that lasts for 5 days like Tokyo but thx to the free rental bikes that this hotel provides, I was able to save up a lot of traffic expenses. Room was clean, warm shower, clean toilet... honestly you can't ask for more as a solo traveler. This place is cleaner and cheaper than your average love hotel lmao

Its a really good location for relaxing and shopping. Nice staff and service. Big bathroom and the perfect space for sleeping . The room is spacious. The veiw is unique for example the japanese garden outside the lobby.
