The view of the mountains and houses was nice. I saw the sunset. Room was clean and comfortable. During the hot hours of the day, I felt tempted to stay in my room. Wifi was stable. Amenities were available for me to take from the first floor lobby, including bath salts, which I enjoyed as well!

    Since we don’t speak Japanese, the host Eiko goes way beyond her responsibility to arrange a shared ride to go to Dakigaeri gouge. she also extend her hospitality and invite us to a free cultural show on the evening. Another plus is the location is in close proximity to Kakunodate station. 15 mins walk.
