We loved the small, cute coffee places across the road too for breakfast and it’s right on the doorstep of Oishi park so you can experience in morning and late afternoon before crowds / tours. The bathrooms are either new or were remodeled recently and are in pristine condition. The bed in the dorm was very comfortable and cozy. They offer free bicycles, tea/coffee, and Japanese snacks. Just open the window. 1st floor i can see toilet and public bath, 1 for man, and 1 for woman. The owner is an old granny and helped by 1 staff, a man around 40 years old. Although they cant speak and understand english, they will google translate to communicate with you. The place just 17 minute if you walk from kawaguchiko station.
