Everything about our stay has been wonderful. The staff did a great job at explaining the whole process to us. The place is super clean as well and the onsen has been great. The best of all was the location of this Ryokan being in front of the JR station, making travelling with and without luggage easy.

Close to all the shops and restaurant, and a short stroll to the Temples and deer park. The suite was exceptional. Very clean, beautifully appointed, and a fantastic outdoor tub and shower set in a garden setting, which was lovely to use in the evening. The bathroom inside was huge, and the shower room was the best we have experienced. The beds were very comfortable, and there is luggage lift for your suitcases so you don’t need to get them up or down stairs. Extremely good value and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Good location, with station, shops, attractions, and the park with the deer all within walking distance. Inside it was modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Perfect!

You might want to go to Himuro Shrine (氷室神社) for a quieter location to admire the cherry blossoms (during spring) and to feed the deer with less competition from other tourists! The deer may be more aggressive though, since they are more hungry (due to less tourists in the area feeding them).

Is very busy and packed with tourists in peak season.

Is very busy and packed with tourists in peak season. The deer closer the entrance are very aggressive so will charge you and bite your clothes to get biscuits. Go further up the park to get some peace and quiet and meet calmer deer. Also, some tourists will feed wrappers and ice cream to the deer thinking it is funny. If you see this, please tell them not to. The deer will get sick.

The best hotel I’ve stayed in 2 weeks around Japan. I felt so amazingly comfortable. The closeness to Nara Park and be able to come for some refreshing free drinks was precious. The Japanese breakfast with local products is something not to be missed.

Hotel is well placed near the Nara park and temples, walkable distance from train station. Venue design is lovely, rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Western breakfast was nicely presented, but bear in mind that if you want a Japanese breakfast you have to pre-order it 7 days in advance. The first room we were given smelled alcohol and cigarette and therefore another room was given to us. Staff were very helpful.

Nice hotel which forms part of the Nara visitor center. Spacious Japanese style rooms, spotlessly clean and quiet. Perfect location at the outskirts of Nara park. Ample availability of common spaces, including a small but comfortable public bath. Very friendly English speaking staff. Excellent value for money.

The location is excellent — right next to the entrance of Nara Park and overlooking a small pond. I also really liked the onsen, which was well-equipped with various products like shower gel and creams. The room was quite spacious, which is not very common for hotels in Japan. The property also has a shared common area with free coffee and tea. The absolute highlight was the small gift for our child, which included a cute toothbrush and slippers.

The room was japanese style, very pleasant with an attractive common area and a well equppie shower and toilet facilities , a small common kitchen. Easy access to Nara park , a medium lenght walk of about 15-20 min . Walk from the station is 10 min, access to the Naramachi old town is about 10 min walking. Hotel-like services are not available

It’s the best of Japanese style Ryokan hotel that we have experienced in Japan so far. The personalised service is warm and wonderful. It reflects Japanese culture in a respect of people who are ultra-polite, diligent, thoughtful, meticulous and artistic tasteful. good location - Nara Park… etc. and local specialty shopping streets nearby.

It's a cozy Japanese style hotel in a picturesque location, near the Nara park, some deer also walk right in front of it. Staff is friendly, there is a possibility to have tea coffee, futon is absolutely adorable! Japanese breakfast was also nutritious and tasty! But the check out time is too early, 10 a.m. There is no free parking and no amenities like a hair brush etc

Extremely good service and facilities, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, it’s conveniently close from the train station and you can easily walk to the Nara park and all the temples. A nice addition - dry hot feet bath in a lobby to relax your feet after a long day of walking. Either I got it on a good deal, but this was the place I paid the least on all my trip in Japan and got the best service.
