The hotel is in oku nikko which surrounded by nature. If you love nature or snow in winter. This is a perfect place to stay. Outside Onsen also surrounded by snow but unfortunately we cannot see the star that day.

This place is superb. It was the best sleep in 5 weeks in Japan, the outdoors private thermal bath was excellent, the food was beautiful, they accomadated me being vegetarian. The onsens were great, outdoor ones being hotter than indoors. The national park it's in is beautiful. The staff are amazing, just delightful.

The private onsen was amazing. Both Dinner and breakfast were Japanese style and we loved it. Staff were so polite and kind.

Situated next to Lake Chuzenji, Hatago Nagomi is renovated in August 2017. The hotel features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site.

location is so convenient with great view of the lake the breakfast and dinner are so yummy the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, especially Thao, who took time to explain to me the food and the history and culture behind it. she’s so friendly and helpful!
