It was very clean and comfortable. The receptionists are very polite, helpful, and speak English. The location is perfect - near the Kyoto station and surrounded by convenience stores. It was a pleasant stay.

Front staff are very polite and helpful, and fluent in English. As I just know limited Nihongo, so the use of English can help foreign guests a lot to enjoy their stay at Mimaru. The Pokemon theme room is really attractive to me as a Pokemon fans, in which fully decorated with lovely Pokemon. I love the Pokemon souvenirs prepared for me so much, which is not for sale and well designed. All the utensils for living are quite enough and you do not need to worry about it if you stay for a long period of time or you can bring nothing to stay in the hotel in case you do not have many special requests.

Everything was beyond my expectations, the amazing breakfast, the perfect location (beside central station) with lots of restaurants nearby, the minimalist and sophisticated architecture, the spacious and well furnished room and bathroom, and, last but not least, the kind and supportive staff.
