Set above a station so is easy to find.

Set above a station so is easy to find. Unfortunately the day we went as very wet and cloudy and the Skytree observation was clouded in, so we were advised not to go up by the attendant. Disappointing.

Loved it here! We had lunch at the Kirby Cafe.

Loved it here! We had lunch at the Kirby Cafe. Reservations are a challenge, but worth it for the incredibly themed place and food. (Watch YouTube videos for reservation tips.) The shopping was so fun! A Kirby store, Pokemon Center, Marvel store, and a Harry Potter Pop-up store were favorites. You could easily spend all day shopping!

The best spot to get a city view, and you can see Mt Fuji on a clear day. THE best attraction for 360 degree views and worth the fee. I wouldn't bother with any of the other fee paying viewing attractions, like the Tokyo Tower of Fuji Observatory. Go for sunset. There's no time limit for staying up there and it has a bar. Not many places to sit down

Nice view and nice insta photo spots.

Nice view and nice insta photo spots. Tip 1: Take the 1st batch of the day. It will be little crowd and you can have plenty space and time to take photo. The staff will not chase you out. Tip 2: Alternatively, can choose between evening and spare about 2 hours to experience day view and night view.

The decision to do the galleria (combo) was somewhat difficult. To justify the additional cost, and after reading reviews that suggested buildings become blurry at that height. I can confirm that although impressive at 450 meters, it did not feel more special than at 350 meters. The definition of the city became diminished at that height. However, the separate elevator did add to the experience. If you are likely to get FOMO, just book the combo (if not, you will pay a premium there). If you cannot justify paying more than necessary to enter - take comfort knowing your aren't missing out on too much.

Tokyo Skytree has the highest observation decks in the city, but that is basically all. It can become very crowded and it is quite far from most interesting places. I enjoyed the outdoor observation platform of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower much more for example and other nice observation decks are even free.

We enjoyed staying the Asakusa area. Close to the Senso-ji temple and Tokyo skytree. Surrounding area is vibrant without being overrun/jammed like some other areas in Tokyo. Hotel has a nice and relaxed vibe with great coffee in the foyer cafe. Room was large enough for a family of four if you don't need separate rooms.

Hotel seemed very authentic with tatami straight at the entrance. Staff was friendly despite me checking-in at very weird hours. Liked the little welcome gift. Room felt very comfortable and had a nice view on the temple and Tokyo Skytree. Subway was accessible nearby, and the Asakusa Line connects easily to Haneda/Narita.

Great location and hotel for first time travellers to Japan. Good size family room and very accommodating staff. The airport limousine bus from Haneda drops off around the corner at Kinshicho station which is very convenient. Lots of shopping and restaurant options in the immediate area with a relaxed and welcoming feel. Kinshicho station easily connects to all the major sites in Tokyo and you are only on stop from Tokyo Skytree and Senso Ji temple.

The accomodation was in a quiet, peaceful area close to many convenience stores. We were also happy we chose to stay in Asakusa, rather than other areas of Tokyo. It was around 2km to walk to Asakusa station, however we enjoyed the exercise everyday. It had all the facilities we needed, including microwave and kitchen utensils. The bathroom was more than adequate, the toilet was fantastic (although this seems to be standard in Japan!). The balcony also had a great view of the Tokyo Skytree tower.

The location is not in the city centre, but accessible to shops, and a 5-minute walk to Honjo Azumabashi Station. Unmanned hotel, but not an issue as the staff will respond quickly to your queries. Walking distance to Tokyo Skytree and grocery shops like 7-Eleven.

The large apartment with a big table. Ideal for working on my photography. Access to the rooftop garden with good view of the Tokyo Skytree was a big plus as I was staying in the region to make Timescape photographs of the Skytree. Attached one of the time blends I made from a nearby pedestrian bridge over the Jikken canal.

The location was excellent, with the 7 Eleven a few metres from the hotel makes it very convenient. The Tokyo Skytree Oshiage station is a short walk, which we use it daily to get to the train and it's had food court and good shopping there as well. The bed compartment was very comfortable and private.

Calm and nice area with great food options close by. Train station has lots of delicious, affordable takeaway food and the neighbourhood has plenty small izakayas to sit down at. Tokyo Skytree can be seen coming back to the hotel every day.

Really a whole apartment. Kitchen, Bath, Sleeping/Living room. And a rooftop terrace from which one could see and photograph the Tokyo Skytree. The operation is a self checkin one, but the staff is incredibly responsive to messages. I needed an unplanned stay and was able to reserve and get in within 30 minutes around 8pm on the day itself. Absolutely most responsive and helpful staff for not being onsite!
