Stepping into the Golden Crown Hotel felt like entering a tropical paradise! Lush greenery draped over balconies, sparkling infinity pool reflecting the sun, and the scent of frangipani filling the air. From the first moment, though, the beauty paled in comparison to the warmth of the staff. Taranga, one of manager's, greeted us with a smile so bright it could have chased away monsoon clouds. He checked us in with the efficiency of a hummingbird, all while making us feel like long-lost friends. Thanks to you Taranga, the Golden Crown wasn't just a stunning hotel, it was a home away from home. We left feeling like we'd discovered not just a hidden gem, but a new family!

Beautiful building, cleans rooms and great courteous staff. The breakfast spread and the view are totally worth it. The cook is extremely talented. He managed to whip up two biryani in just 30 mins of notice.

The pictures of this hotel looked amazing! As the hotel has little reviews (it’s only a month old) we were a bit unsure whether to book or not, but glad we did! The rooms look exactly like the images and the entire hotel is decorated beautifully. The room was large and airy with a very neutral design which I loved! It had great details, including a large free standing mirror, coffee table and armchair. The main show has to be the bed. Large, extra soft linen with plenty of cushions - dreamy! The linen has been some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. The bathroom also featured a large shower with a giant rainfall shower head. I would definitely stay here again. Wish there were more quality stays like this! One last thing, they served a fab coffee!

What I enjoyed the most was the staff; they were incredibly friendly and flexible. I must say, it was truly a "wow" service! Although I didn't have the chance to meet the manager, the other staff members were excellent in their service. I've already decided that whenever I visit again, this is the place I want to stay. The food was delicious, and overall, I can confidently say it was one of my best stays.

    The hotel WhatsApp contact provided by the auto-generated Booking.com email was very useful and made arrival coordination much easier. The complimentary transfer to Kandy Railway Station was a nice touch offered to all guests. The hotel itself is boutique-style with absolutely stunning mountain views. Room had everything I needed, including an espresso machine with complimentary coffee. Décor was chic and classic. Staff were helpful in planning tours.

    Everything was great, the house owner was so kind and helpfull. Rooms were very clean and cozy. The road was a bit hard for tuktuks but worth it. It was 5 minutes away from the Kandy Railway Station, 10 minutes from City Center.
