Garbage was all over the embankments and floating in the water . No one cleans it up because the guide says those trash comes from Manila and surrounding provinces . If it affects your island and you are charging those visitors, then it would make sense to allocate some funds to take care of that problem. It’s an embarrassment to have that unsightly part of the island. Too bad, the trip to Corregidor has such an emotional connection to a lot of people visiting.The guide was so well versed with the history of the place.
