We loved the peaceful countryside location and the overall design and layout. Staff really helpful with advice and bookings as needed. Scooter hire is really useful for day trips of which there are plenty in close proximity to the property.

We liked everything! The rooms are new and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom is huge, clean, and there is everything you need. The surroundings are beautiful, with a small river, mountains and lots of plants in the garden (and fresh papayas!). It's also very quiet, so you'll sleep well. Last but not least - the family is so nice, they are so friendly and helpful, and it was great getting to know them. Bikes and scooters are available - I really recommend cycling. Couldn't recommend this place more - the hospitality and the environment were fantastic!

An Amazing homestay, looks like a mini resort set along the river surrounded by the topical limestone mountains and a full tropical atmosphere, ZuZu and his family are great and welcoming people, everything is clean and well maintained, free SUP and bicycle to explore the river and the surroundings, a la carte breakfast include in the price and food Is great!! this place is paradise!!! The family was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, you really feel like you are a part of the place :) My bungalow was pretty and very clean, comfy bed. The grounds were very well-maintained as well. I also had my dinners at the homestay and enjoyed the vegetarian dishes the offer (fresh spring rolls aka summer rolls, boiled veggies, or rice with eggs).

The hosts were amicable and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious. The hotel is well-equipped with a pool and a restaurant, which made everything super convenient. The pricing was reasonable, and I even had the chance to meet some friendly fellow travelers during my stay. Simply fantastic!

Chang took care of us very well, they always had a sweet smile and their advice on what we should do while in Ninh Binh were very spot on! They booked us taxis to the spots which were very helpful and quick at a very good price. We did the Trang An boat tour as suggested by Chang and it was truly a great experience. We felt very at home in this wonderfully friendly hostel. This is our favorite place to stay during our trip. And the Pom Pom dog is very cute. We will definitely come back here when we go to Ninh Binh.

    Its actually quite nice to walk around early in the morning...

    Its actually quite nice to walk around early in the morning before the other tourists arrive, but in reality it is a couple of quite nice by nothing special temples in the main complex, a nothing special temple out in a very scenic valley bewteen karst towers, and a totally uninspiring temple up quite a climb up some steep steps near the top of a hill.

    Accept the offer of a motorbike tour at the gate to see it all, otherwise you’ll never find all the locations. Trust the locals. They are trying to make a living sure - as we all are. But you gotta trust that apart from the odd taxi driver, in Vietnam most people ARE NOT trying to rip you off. Yes people offering directions are doing just that like you would at home. And do give some money to the lady monks who hold out their hands when you visit. It is how they survive. Don’t be cheap and mean please! I witnessed some bad white people behaviour here and in Tam Coc and Hoi An. Try not to be an asshole!
