We had a wonderful time at Maze Lodge in the middle of the jungle! Sure the road is a little bumpy but nothing a 4x4 car (we had a Suzuki Jimny) can't handle...a little adventure ride for free :) We want to thank our hosts Frida and Alexander so much for hospitality and their support! The place is beautifully cared for, with a variety of lodging options each set apart from the others. The lidge is a few steps away from the far end of a peaceful and calm beach so generally one is alone there. Also in walking distance of a nice beachfront restaurant/bar. The owner Tomas is very friendly and helpful, as is his assistant Julia. They let me bring my dog! I actually spent 3 nights there, not 1. I will recommend it to friends

Everything was simply spectacular: the whole staff is always keen to help and make you feel at home, starting from Lana, the incredible owner of the lodge; the food is local, fresh and delicious; there is a whole range of activities that Lana organize - we even had the opportunity to participate to a Cacao ceremony that was quite an experience. You could literally spend from few days to few months in that lodge as you will always feel at home. The view of the yoga place is spectacular. Just keep in mind that the road to get there requires 4W car and a really expert driver, so if you don’t feel confident, is a good option to accept the lift from the lodge.

All meals were excellent, served in the wonderful restaurant that has a vaulted ceiling yet is open at ground level. Staff were extremely helpful in arranging transport for us both to and from the hotel. Cannot fault the staff who were friendly and very efficient. Thoroughly recommend.

Finca Kobo is beautifully located in the nature. In the morning we walked around the finca and encountered many monkeys. Staff very nice. Would definitely recommend and come back next time.

Danta Corcovado Lodge offers its guests a library, Wi-Fi access in public areas free of charge and extensive gardens. Tea and coffee services are available from 06:00 to 22:00 hours.

Our 2nd visit and we extended it further once we got there. The staff are brilliant (and helped me with improving my Spanish) and the place is unique. We like the Canta Rana bungalow best as it has a lagoon around it, but they are all privately located in the jungle. The dinner deal is great value and good food. There are trails to walk and animals and birds all around. One of our favourite places and we've travelled to over 60 countries. Thanks Merlin and team.

The staff is very kind and does all they can to help you and meet your needs. The guides are very professional and we learned a lot from Eli and Mario. The food is excellent, great choices on the menu! The prices of the drinks are very honest. The location for us was stunning! If you love nature, wanting to disconnect and appreciate the jungle wildlife this is THE place to be! We saw squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys and spider monkeys from our villa! The beach is very wild and waves can be very strong but it's mesmerising to sit alone and watch the power of the ocean. One morning we saw whales pass by, it was magical!!

Silvina is an excellent host, very helpful and responsive. We had a marvellous time and saw so much wildlife during our stay! The off-grid experience was far more immersive than a hotel, and we slept very well in the comfortable beds, with the sounds of waves to lull us to sleep, and monkeys to wake us up!
